Try it

It's bad. Two deaths and many casualties. It all resulted from bacterial contamination of seafood. The question is if it's avoidable. If good hygiene is practised? If you have a good sense of cleanliness?

It could just happen to anyone. Food consumption is daily, 24/ 7, per- second business which needs high hygiene standards. The food provider too has a very high liability towards the consumers. But then again you can never know what's being put in the food you eat. It could be bad but doesn't seem bad because it doesn't taste bad. Try it.

i guess the onus should not only be on the stall holder, but also the consumer as well. come on, you are not consuming hawker food at the comforts of your laurel at home and you are making a choice to consume food at a certain stall because of your own judgement that it is safe for consumption. it's more of a two way thing i guess, though sometimes what you see is not always what you get.
